YOUR MISSION

  • Support Research & Development projects within Group Engineering
  • Program machines and develop procedures
  • Design, construct, improve, operate, and maintain test benches in our lab
  • Design and perform initial sample/proof-of-concept tests
  • Carry out activities with a strong customer focus
  • Prepare engineering documentation and presentations

YOUR PROFILE

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Systems and Controls, Materials Science, Process Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
  • Good understanding of mechanical engineering and programming
  • Familiarity with 3D CAD software
  • Experience in sensing and actuation technologies, mechanical testing, polymers, and programming (Python, C#, PLC, Matlab, Arduino) is a plus
  • Practical experience in building machines and familiarity with electrical cabinets/diagrams is a plus
  • Ability to promote continuous improvement while achieving the desired results
  • Familiarity with virtual product development (e.g., Finite Element Analysis)
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Self-driven, proactive, and well-organised team player
  • Fluent in English and German (written and oral)
