YOUR MISSION
- Support Research & Development projects within Group Engineering
- Program machines and develop procedures
- Design, construct, improve, operate, and maintain test benches in our lab
- Design and perform initial sample/proof-of-concept tests
- Carry out activities with a strong customer focus
- Prepare engineering documentation and presentations
YOUR PROFILE
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Systems and Controls, Materials Science, Process Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering and programming
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software
- Experience in sensing and actuation technologies, mechanical testing, polymers, and programming (Python, C#, PLC, Matlab, Arduino) is a plus
- Practical experience in building machines and familiarity with electrical cabinets/diagrams is a plus
- Ability to promote continuous improvement while achieving the desired results
- Familiarity with virtual product development (e.g., Finite Element Analysis)
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Self-driven, proactive, and well-organised team player
- Fluent in English and German (written and oral)
